These Terms of Service govern your use of shoptheladiesedge.com, any mobile app we may release, and all related services (collectively, the “Store”). By accessing or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Use of the Store

You agree to use the Store only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Products & Orders

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or cancel orders at our sole discretion (including for suspected fraud).
Images are for illustration only; actual colors and sizing may vary slightly.
We may modify or discontinue any product at any time without notice.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in USD and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.
We accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods processed through Shopify Payments and/or third-party gateways.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.

5. Shipping

Shipping rates, times, and carriers are displayed at checkout. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages once handed to the carrier.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Please see our separate Returns & Exchanges Policy (shoptheladiesedge.com/pages/returns) for full details. In summary:

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, unworn items in original packaging with tags attached.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method minus any original shipping fees.
Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Sale/final-sale items are non-returnable.

7. SMS / Text Messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in at checkout or on the site, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages (order updates, shipping notifications, abandoned-cart reminders, promotions). Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. We never sell your phone number.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Store (images, logos, designs, text, photos, videos) is owned by The Ladies Edge or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use it without written permission.

9. User Content (Reviews, Photos, etc.)

By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display that content for any purpose.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Store for any unlawful purpose
Submit false reviews or impersonate others
Attempt to interfere with the Store’s security or functionality

11. Disclaimers

Products are provided “AS IS.” We do not warrant that the Store will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LADIES EDGE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE STORE OR PRODUCTS PURCHASED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) IN QUESTION.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Ladies Edge, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Store.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will first be addressed informally by emailing merch@theladiesedge.com. Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Rules in Columbus, Ohio (with a 30-day opt-out available — details in our main Terms of Service).

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The new version will be posted here with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
